Plastic clam shells are not recyclable locally, so Whole Foods has worked out a deal with their distributors to make use of their empty trucks heading back to Portland, to recycle your plastic clam shell containers! For a limited time, Whole Foods will pilot this project by allowing the public to drop off their plastic clam shells at their Bend store EVERY Saturday in October, from 11-2. Rethink Waste Project will be assisting with volunteers to help educate our community about what…
